Review on Columbia Silver Ridge Stretch Convertible Pant for Men by Nate Jenkins

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Better than the non-stretch Silver Ridge Convertible Pants, but the fit is still poor

Same feeling as normal Silver Ridge Convertible Pants, the only saving grace is the elastic fabric, you don't feel like it restricted to steps. but they are still too tight at the hips. Why make pants meant for hiking or at least outdoor activities so tight that they pull at your hips with every step? In particular, consider climbing stairs (or scaling a hilly slope) if you need to lift your legs higher to climb vertically. These are the steps where the fabric of any pair of pants rubs the most and sticks to your damp, sweaty feet. as part of a day trip, struggling with your pants makes every step that much more tiring; In the context of these pants, this problem is even worse as they become so tight that they maximize traction. and i have normal guy thighs. I haven't seen leg day at the gym in years. These pants have the same small pockets as regular silver pants. Why? Why design pants for the street and make the front pockets useless?

Cons
  • There is a negative effect
