The depth of the front pocket depends on the size.

I ordered the color Grill, it looks like a dark green color for the street. Anyway, I ordered size 34x30 first, front pockets were flat, but length is too long and waist barely fits, no room to breathe or I'm fatter than I want to admit. I just added an elastic band and can unbutton the button. Etc. plus I hem about two inches. The calf pocket on the side is actually better for the mobile phone, even when sitting down. Or drive. So I ordered 34x28 and the length is better and the best surprise…

I love these pants good for pants

I bought two pairs of these pants for less than $20 each. I was so impressed with their comfort and versatility that I bought another pair in a third color. I read reviews that they are too small in the hip area, ordered a 38" waist instead of my usual 36" waist and thought it was the right choice. I think a 36" waist would be too tight around the hips and crotch, and a 38" would not be too big for my waist, but I need a belt. Love the fabric, it's lightweight and has a slight stretch which is…

Best hiking pants!

I bought this for my trip to Yosemite in September and loved it. It's very light, I actually read the reviews and bought an inch larger than my size as I'm a petite guy with big hips and it fits perfectly. People have complained about the crotch area of their pants, but I've never had a problem with it. I used these pants as shorts and they hiked for almost 2 weeks. What I love most is that I've been on the panorama trail and jumped into the water at the waterfall without thinking about getting

Lightweight and well made

I LOVE these pants! I bought them for a trip to Southern California and Hawaii with a lot of hiking. I ordered my normal size and they fit better and are more comfortable than I was hoping for. They fit like regular straight pants with a flat front without being too baggy. And the very subtle stretch feature is only noticeable when active, which is what you want. I was 6'4" when I took my pants off and the shorts were just above the knee. I also ordered the non-stretch version of these pants…

Same feeling as normal Silver Ridge Convertible Pants, the only saving grace is the elastic fabric, you don't feel like it restricted to steps. but they are still too tight at the hips. Why make pants meant for hiking or at least outdoor activities so tight that they pull at your hips with every step? In particular, consider climbing stairs (or scaling a hilly slope) if you need to lift your legs higher to climb vertically. These are the steps where the fabric of any pair of pants rubs the most

Designed for men, also worn by women

Just to clarify, I'm a 1.80m tall woman. Columbia's women's pant doesn't fit me, and their women's reversible pant is very uncomfortable (seriously, why would the zipper be so tight around the hips that I can't stand comfortably in them, let alone sit?). These convertible men's pants are designed with a little more room in the hip area and I can conveniently order the length that suits me rather than some idealized women's model. I bought 2 pairs and wore them in Tanzania for 3 weeks. I took…
