I bought two pairs of these pants for less than $20 each. I was so impressed with their comfort and versatility that I bought another pair in a third color. I read reviews that they are too small in the hip area, ordered a 38" waist instead of my usual 36" waist and thought it was the right choice. Same feeling as normal Silver Ridge Convertible Pants, the only saving grace is the elastic fabric, you don't feel like it restricted to steps. but they are still too tight at the hips. Why make pants meant for hiking or at least outdoor activities so tight that they pull at your hips with every step? In particular, consider climbing stairs (or scaling a hilly slope) if you need to lift your legs higher to climb vertically. These are the steps where the fabric of any pair of pants rubs the most

Just to clarify, I'm a 1.80m tall woman.
