I don't know how many car phone mounts I've had. I had the ones that had suction, the suction with that messy sticky sludge, the ones that attached to the vent, and I ended up going for it. It's that easy and the magnet is really strong. The only problem you might have is finding a really flat surface to attach it to. I know space on my truck was limited as curved surfaces are common, but I found a spot near the door and vent. It holds up very well and I love that you can adjust the position and there's even a little hook on the back to secure the charging cable. I'm happy with my purchase and will stick with it for now. Pros: - really strong magnet - tape seems to stick really well. Couldn't test how it holds up in the summer heat - Fastens to the back to secure the charging cable - Adjustable hinge for positioning Cons: - Only one issue everyone should be aware of up front is that you need a flat surface, to attach it to I thought of attaching it to the windshield but I wouldn't risk it. Ideally the dashboard would be the best spot, but newer cars are a little more curved so it can be a little tricky to find a spot to fully stick to.
