Review on πŸ‘Ά Original Toddler Boys' Salt Water Sandals Shoes by Patrick Lets

Looks authentic; the size is larger than expected

While some reviews question authenticity, the pair I received appear to be genuine. I was skeptical at first because they came in a regular cardboard box instead of a saltwater box. A message was printed on the inside of the box stating that the original box was damaged. A little disappointing for the full price but the sandals looked nice. Also, I noticed that the size markings on the back strap of the new pair are different than the size markings on the tan pair I've worn for several years (both pairs pictured). However, I made sure the new leather protection stamp matched the sandal photos on the official Seawater website. . Maybe it's just me, but this pair was more than expected on my daughter. We'll keep him because I know her foot will grow. But what should have been her size was at least 1 size too big. The only other mention is that the buckle closures are stiff which made it difficult for my 9 year old to get them on and off. I'm sure they will loosen up after a few wears. Overall I love these sandals and will continue to recommend them. But for the price, they really should create better packaging so people don't immediately doubt its authenticity.

Pros
  • Not cheap, but high quality.
Cons
  • The leather strap on the back completely detached from the leather sole in just 2 months.
