The lid will stick well to the side of the grill if you want to set it aside to move food around the grill. INSIDE the grill lid is a large handle that hooks onto the rim of the grill. I only mention this because some people have complained that there is nowhere to put the lid when cooking. But there is. Just received my grill and will update it after cooking fish on it outside. I have to cook all the fish in nature! LOL so I'm really glad I have this grill ---- it's super cute and perfect for my apartment patio. I also ordered some George Foreman sponges because I see some people use metal brushes to clean their grill (what?!) and then complain about the coating coming off? Apparently George Foreman's sponges were only meant to be used by one? I'm also planning to buy some S hooks to hang my kitchen stuff on the edge of the grill.
