Received this after my old blender burned out while grinding oatmeal. I figured an immersion blender could handle the dry ingredients a little better and not overheat. I am happy to say that it is. This little thing is very powerful for its size and really slices through whatever you set it at. It's easy to assemble, disassemble, clean and works great. The only thing I don't like is the cord getting in the way and knocking things over when in use, but you'll probably get used to it and with practice you'll be able to handle it. Some people comment that you can only use this for a minute, believe me that's enough. It's meant to be a pulsating blender, and you move it around so much that a minute of actual work is likely to go through whatever you're blending.
