Other reviewers have noted that these boxes' dual latches are difficult to open. I didn't find them that difficult after the first time, despite my weak hands. The narrowness of the boxes and sections means I hope my sterling silver earrings and necklaces don't tarnish. I was surprised at how small the sections were despite comparing the footprint to another set of boxes I've previously purchased. These were not available and they were the closest in size. Each box was larger, though, so I found that while I sometimes needed three sections for a large earring or necklace, I was able to fit some that I couldn't fit in others. So this set is a bit more flexible due to the additional height. I made little labels for each box on my computer and stuck them on each box to identify what was inside. This way my jewelry will be more organized and it will be easier for me to find what I am looking for.
