I went the long way and removed the entire dashboard to replace a few things, including the doors. They're definitely better than stock or standard plastic doors, but they only come with a replacement hinge. This is because when you cut the dash you only have access to one hinge on the dash side and you have to reuse the plastic hinge on the engine side. However, if you disassemble the entire dashboard, you can access both hinges. If you only have one replacement, you still need to use the motor's plastic side loop. I don't think this will affect performance, no other reviewer mentioned it, so I hope my concerns about metal parts being too heavy or maybe too hot and plastic warping aren't an issue. Also, the metal hinge is a bit too big for the hole it needs to go through, so the hole needs to be widened to fit and work properly.
