WILL NOT FIT - WITH CHRYSLER (JEEP) KIT!

Mixer door and new end piece in combination with the internal drive motor are TOO BIG and do NOT fit into the hole! If you call Jeep you will find that THEY recommend a kit - #68080867AA (which Revain has). I received this kit and of course it fits and works perfectly! My car is a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7L.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Working speed

But works. suitable for engine cooling and air conditioning

One of the blender flaps has 15 degrees of play, does not fit exactly into the existing adapter. The unit appears to be temperature controlled but is still getting error codes for that door. Asked the company for help but got no response. It's nice that I've been able to keep the dual climate controls, but I'm not sure how long this product will last with that much play in a door.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Easy install and savings of over $1000, Dual A/C works like new

My heater worked but my air conditioner broke for years because the dealer repair cost was $1400. It fixed a broken and stuck air door in about 45 minutes and cost $70. The air conditioning works like new, cheap and easy and I couldn't be happier. This aluminum replacement is actually a huge improvement over cheap OEM plastic doors.

  • Pleasant to use

Works great: Heater Door Lever

I repaired the heater on my 2004 Jeep WJ, just be sure to follow the calibration instructions for the faucet door actuator. Do not use force on the dampers, otherwise the standard plastic bottle may break. These mixed doors are 10 times better than factory doors. The best way to install them is to use an air saw or hot knife to cut a hole in the glove box plastic, then install them and melt the plastic. JGCparts.com has a great tutorial.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Lightly dented

Overlay Door (Duel) for Jeep GC 1999-2004

I am so impressed with the quality and engineering that went into this product! Jeep Corporation (Chrysler) had to install this on their Jeeps from the factory. I am very confident that this will last more than 15 years; much longer than my jeep lasts. If you're not mechanically inclined or don't have the patience to install it yourself, pay a friend to install it. It's better than paying a hijacker $1,000 to install a piece of plastic that will break in less than 5 years. Some of us even keep…

These parts did not fit my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

When I installed it, the last piece that attaches to the front motor didn't fit the hole in the plastic. The diameter was too big. I had to file the plastic to enlarge the hole. After slipping through the hole. I noticed that the metal rod that stops the rotation didn't go far enough to hit the plastic stop. I installed both doors all the way into the chamber, but the end piece was still sticking out over the stop (see photo). I tried to see if that would work, but the doors rubbed against the…

Excellent air conditioning product

Works great, easy to install. Now I have warmth again. A word of advice: apply anti-seize paste to the tongue and hole where the doors attach! A few months after I installed it, I had no heat one morning. I did the calibration and again I had mixed door codes. WHAT? I disassembled it and pulled out the hood doors. The hinge (aluminum tongue and hole) on which the two doors pivot is frozen. It was difficult to dismantle the doors. I don't know why, but the small tab on the outer door that fits…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

They won't break anytime soon, that's it.

They don't break that easily. Replaced broken mixed doors on my 2000 JGC with dual climate control. These new doors work as intended. The only thing I had trouble with is the difference between the outside diameter of the driver's door "connector" (the smaller part that needs to go through the plastic housing and connect to the door) and the through hole diameter of the plastic housing. In order for the aluminum part to go through the plastic, I had to remove some material from the plastic…

Just one hinge and it's a bit thick but otherwise perfect

I went the long way and removed the entire dashboard to replace a few things, including the doors. They're definitely better than stock or standard plastic doors, but they only come with a replacement hinge. This is because when you cut the dash you only have access to one hinge on the dash side and you have to reuse the plastic hinge on the engine side. However, if you disassemble the entire dashboard, you can access both hinges. If you only have one replacement, you still need to use the…
