Solid 4.5 stars. Great product with easy assembly

Great product - my child loved it and got it. Great father daughter project! Good first! - Very easy to build! This home can be built by any functional adult or teen. - Great guide! (and I don't think I've ever said that before!) Not too verbose, lots of good pictures, simple steps. I seriously don't think I can improve them! All holes fit, everything fits tight. I am impressed! Assembly requires only one tool! Phillips head screwdriver (I would recommend a #1 bit instead of the more usual #2). The assembly time was exactly 1 hour and 15 minutes, and my child "helped" me. I've never done anything like this before, but I'm good with my hands. - The house looks good, just like the picture. Bad: - Minor issue: Two panels were labeled incorrectly, causing confusion. L&M plates. Little problem. The biggest problem is the material. Each panel is spectacularly crafted from pressed cardboard. The only wooden parts are very thin shingles. If the thing gets wet, it's done. It's pretty strong, but probably at least half the strength of a plywood house. In their defense, this material is probably a lot cheaper to manufacture than plywood, and I suspect part of the reason it's worked so well is that, unlike wood, this material doesn't swell or warp with time changes. This house won't become a family heirloom, but it was a fun project for both of us and I hope she enjoys it. Overall this set is value for money and a good buy.
