The build quality is excellent, the housing is made of metal and the USB-C cable is well protected. I am using these and running the desktop app successfully on Galaxy Note 8 phone and Galaxy Tab S4 tablet. I tried this on a Galaxy Tab S3 but it didn't work, but that might be because the tablet doesn't have desktop software, I don't know. The only thing that bothers me about this product is that the USB-C cable is too short. The phone was a little fiddly, but plugging the tablet into a short cable is very limiting. In terms of quality I would buy this product again but if you use it regularly I would recommend looking for a product with a longer cord. mounting cable.
