Quality look, feel, and sound. Bad durability

I bought the cable a little over a year ago and the right side of my audio has cut out. I've traveled with it maybe 5-6 times. Most of the time it stays plugged into the interface on my desk. It seems to be an issue near the 2.5mm end as I can wiggle it and the sound will come back for a second. I'm not the only person who has had this issue. Otherwise, the cable looks and feels great. It has the same sound quality as the original cables that came with my M40x. Just wish it would have held up…

Pros
  • The headphone cables are color-coordinated, making it much easier to identify which belongs to which side
Cons
  • Not compatible with Bluetooth devices

Takstar Pro 82, confirmed, works with this cable.

I recently bought this for my Takstar Pro 82 after reading that this cable was compatible. -it is, just wanted to confirm for those who have a hard time finding a replacement.I haven't had this product long enough to write a review. I will revise this later when I feel comfortable enough to give a proper assessment.

Pros
  • The connectors of the replacement cables by NewFantasia are gold-plated, ensuring that they transmit the audio signal with minimum distortion
Cons
  • Limited guarantee or warranty

Works great, half the price

Five stars, especially when compared with the original Audio Technica cables:- More choices of cord length (I got 1.5m).- Half the price.- No noticeable difference in sound quality.- The cable "locks in" to the headphones, just like the original cables.- Minor point, but this cable looks cooler. It's actually red underneath the black woven fabric (only really visible in the sun), and I like the aesthetics more than the plain original cable.Other notes:- Both of the original cables that…

Pros
  • The NewFantasia replacement cables for the ATH-M50X, ATH-M40X, and ATH-M70X headphones are easy to install, without any need for tools
Cons
  • Poor soundstage

Seriously great cable.

I've used this cable about eight months and it's seriously great.- It coils nicely- it seems really durable (I'm pretty gentle with my equipment though)- it has a nice feel to it- it's just the right length for everyday use, lengthy but not too long- it's just the right length to use with a phone- the source (input) end is nice and grippable- I've almost never had it tangle- it fits right into my headphones (M40X)It has a couple minor quirks:- [for M40X] the output end (that inserts into the…

works good, one year aproximately

This cable works good, but only for one year. For the last three years I have to replace it once a year, consistently. And this year it happened again. Well, it still good enough for the money.

Pros
  • The 1.2m cable is perfect for when you are on the move, while the 4ft cable provides you with greater freedom of movement while listening to music
Cons
  • May not fit all head sizes

Misleading Pictures but Good Product

Great cable, happy with my purchase but FYI it’s red and black and I was looking for an all black cable. I don’t think the pictures display that very well. I tried to get a picture in the right light for others to see. Otherwise no complaints everything sounds crisp and it’s a good length. Build quality is good, 2.5mm locking end has held up well after quite a bit of use. (ATH M40x)

Pros
  • These cables are designed to have low capacitance, which minimizes the signal loss, enhancing the clarity of the sound
Cons
  • Inadequate shielding leads to interference

Perfect replacement for the stock Audio Technica ATH-M40x cable(s). While the quality of the included cables may be great, I don't think most people want 10 foot long cables hanging to their legs. This wire fixes all the problems I had with the original wires. It's only 4 feet long, braided with this wonderful metal that feels extremely high quality, it's much more mold-able than the included cables, and it looks absolutely beautiful. It also includes a screw-in 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter, which…

Pros
  • The 1.2m cable is compact and easy to store, and you won't have to worry about it taking up too much space
Cons
  • May not live up to expectations

static at certain volume levels

Using with a Shiit MAGNI amp, I found that rotating the volume knob between 1/3-1/2, I heard a little bit of static in the right ear. This is something I also noticed with some music. I was skeptical that it's the cable, but going to back to two other cables had no static noise.

Pros
  • The cables improve the bass and treble response, and you will hear details in the music that you never knew existed
Cons
  • Limited availability in stores

Hit and miss -- went back to an OEM cable

I bought two of these cables -- one for me, one for my son. His continues working just fine with his phone, his primary music device. Mine gave me trouble from day 1 with everything I attached it to.The plug was touchy with my MacBook Pro. had to jiggle it a bit to get it to seat correctly. With my iPad and Fire tablets, it usually worked when first plugged in, then needed moved and jiggled to maintain connection. After doing more testing and cable swapping (I used to be a computer tech, so…
