I use this when recording in a studio—the 9ft option is perfect for this. The cable material is strong and honestly more durable than the factory cable! I’d recommend getting a shorter cable as backup if you’re using your headphones outside of a studio setting—9ft is pretty impractical otherwise.

Bought this because my cat ate my original cord. Not sure why Bose does not sell this particular cord out of the box. That being said, the cord sturdy yet flexible. I use my Bose headphones and cord to play guitar quietly. Does not alter the sound of Bose headphones. Highly recommend.

In general, it's a very comfortable to use and the protection it provides is excellent. Cord is nice but the metal piece which inserts into the headphones snapped after four uses (casual wear around my house). I hope they send replacements for this, because if they do not then this product is NOT worth your money.

Nice finish and feels like a quality product.Fit is a little tight in the headset.Not sure if it has anything to do with the cable but pc doesnt automaticaly change to headphones when plugged in as it does with the original cable.Still very happy with it though.

This cable fits my Bose perfectly! My only complaint (and maybe it's actually a blessing in disguise) is that the cord is really thick and heavy. The cord feels cumbersome and stiff. For my use, which is really only to use the cord and my headset with my laptop, it is fine, but if you are a person who wears your headset/takes it with you to listen to music on your phone, while walking around, etc., the cord would be too stiff and heavy. I didn't realize until I opened the package that the sheath for the cable is braided nylon. That was a pleasant surprise. The stock cable was beginning to short out if I had it in a certain position, so I needed a new cable. The end connecting to the headphones fits very snug (which is good) and the end connecting to the computer comes straight out of the computer; it isn't angled like the cable it replaced. Love my old BOSE AE-2'sI've replaced the ear pads and Cable a few times and they're brand new again.Waiting for them to DIE before plunging into wireless.This cable is worth while.

Product lasted me way more than the regular Bose cables, there is a spring close to the plug that helps the cable to keep its shape. The only negative part is that the cable is so sturdy and thick that makes noises every time it rubs against itself and you can hear the noise via the headphones, it's like a soft scratch, so either you straighten your cable or you get use to the sound.

The plug does not easily fit/stay in the phone. the prong is too short and there is a collar around the plug to screw the larger plug onto the chord. there are better options. it is usable, but if i wear headphones and move position, almost always the plug loses connection and i have to readjust the fitting.

My son's headphones quit working and I was afraid I would have to replace them. I thought I'd give this a try and it worked. Saved me from throwing away a perfectly good pair of headphones.

Excellent quality cable. Far superior to the original cable which my cat had chewed up. It works perfectly in conjunction with a right angle adaptor to achieve a nice secure low-profile connection to my laptop. The wire itself is also covered with a very durable yet flexible material that my cat has shown no interest in chewing on so far. He has approached the cable a few times and rubbed on it but I think he realizes it is too sturdy for him to chew on.
