When the zipper on my favorite casual pants broke, I thought this product would save me. And for the most part it was. This replacement zipper is durable and pretty easy to install. My only complaint (and to be honest the description of this item suggests so) is that it's quite large for a pair of pants. On a jacket this would be perfect, but on my pants it was a bit difficult to push the two halves together (but I did) and the pull itself (not the zipper) doesn't twist up and down as easily as the original on the somewhat larger size and a snug fit on the zipper (but again, it works). On a positive note, the zipper is easy to get up and down, is strong and seems to easily outlast the pants I put on and now I have my favorite pair of pants to go paperless with. Clip as zipper. However, note that this zipper is very tight on a pair of pants - it worked for me, but it may not work for you. Any chance the manufacturer is considering changing the zipper puller to a size more suitable for a pant?
