Barely warm. The fleece is not thick.
The product hardly heats up even when the body is lying on it. I know most table warmers are pressure sensitive for safety reasons. Returns to the lowest setting (which produces no noticeable heat) after 1 hour. The fleece pillow is said to be very soft and thick, but it is not. Unfortunately I've had about 5 or 6 heating pads over the past few years. This showed the worst results right after the first application.
