Review on πŸ§– Hadalabo Gokujun Cleansing Oil 200ml by ROHTO by Paula Pickett

If only this oil could eliminate hidden bill payments!

This stuff! One sip, rub it between your palms to warm it up and gently press it against your face like an iron press and I can ALREADY see my makeup melting away. Crazy how effective this is! I've cleansed myself with oils before when I used the oil cleansing method a few years ago so it was quite nice to go back to those days. The oil has no flavor and appears to use olive oil as the main ingredient/what it is based on and is definitely on par with olive oil in consistency, although slightly lighter in viscosity. Watching my eyeliner melt in front of my eyes is pretty cool, but the real magic happens when I close my eyes and I can literally feel the mascara roll off my lashes and dissolve with the gentle rubbing of my fingertips. Mascara is notoriously harsh on many makeup removers, especially wet products, so getting rid of it for a bit is refreshing. light shade, and I mean SMALL. Can't comment on lip stains, not my thing, but seriously, this cleanser just melts EVERYTHING. On my good days, I've had to successfully remove oil with multiple rinses and a hot towel or even a creamy cleanser like puddles and feel if any makeup oil remained on my face. Not with that. Once the water TOUCHES this "oil" it emulsifies and turns milky white! The oil-water droplets in the sink are clearly clinging to my makeup, and when my face is cleaned of this now-milky concoction, it's clear that all my makeup is GONE. Even after that, I can check the cleanliness of my skin by wiping part of my face with a tissue and waiting for traces of brown foundation to appear, just like in the days when I used makeup remover wipes. The fabric stays white. Absolute magic. <3
