I have/had a different brand of camera trap that costs $50 more than this one. Wosodo excels in every way but one. What are its benefits? 1. It is very easy to set up with LCD screen. Setting the calendar and date is easy, and formatting the SD card is also easy.2. The instructions are very legible and complete. Maybe too full, but I read every word. There is a lot of information there. And it's all written so that it can be understood. Actually one of the best guides I've seen in a long time. Again very complete.3. An easy way adjust the quality of photos and videos, see the menu.4. Setup is simplified with a 3-position switch. OUT OF TARGET and ON setting is done with the AIM setting, then you have 15 seconds after moving the switch to the ON position to "get out of the way".5. The battery compartment idea is a good one, but I found I had to move the bracket adjustment to remove the compartment. Again, using the included strap is no problem. - The only issue I had is the permanent mount (most people would love to use a tree mount, so for most of us this is hardly an issue). The mount is VERY difficult to adjust to properly stabilize the camera. Lots of twisting with pliers makes it sturdy, but a better mount would be great. I ended up using a camera tripod head instead of the included mount. Would I buy this again? I probably don't need it - it's a great camera!
