I bought 3 of these (theoretically 2 different brands but actually the same) for a mission trip to Malawi. I wore them every third day for a month so they were used quite a bit. They were hand washed in a bucket after each use. The presence of pockets was the only advantage of these skirts. The fabric felt nice and light, but it was completely impractical: These skirts picked up dirt so easily, attracted burrs and thorns, got stuck everywhere, were difficult to hand wash, soaked up water like crazy, and took a long time to dry. Pretty quick, by the end of the trip I couldn't fit anything heavier than a pen in my pockets to keep my skirt from hitting the floor. In case you're wondering: I had 1 other skirt in a different fabric that did none of the above in the same circumstances.
