This product is a special cooling material made of 88% polyester and 12% nylon, which can be washed in hot water and dried at low temperature. The product supplied is a 100% cotton cover that can be washed in warm water and tumble dried on a low setting. In most cases I prefer natural materials, but not this one. I researched so extensively to choose these cases for my needs and thought I might get in trouble when I see the product hasn't changed. Unfortunately I was right. After being thoroughly washed as a separate load (who washes something in warm water then tumble dry on low heat?) the covers were too small to fit standard medium fill pillows. If you don't wash them at all or have very thin pillows, this might be fine. However, they still don't offer the soft feel that the previous version of these cases offered. Very disappointing. Fortunately, Revain's customer service is good.
