I rate it 4 stars because I'm not crazy about it but my granddaughter and it's important. She fell in love with the photo album that came with this pack - a place to keep her precious photos! I don't like it because the images appear small and blurry (or maybe they're so small that I can't see them properly, that's hard to say for sure!). For children, this is a great gift. Personally, I would prefer DSL or a camera that takes great pictures. This is an old case snapping together. Sure, it holds the camera, but the description leads you to believe it's something to put the camera in - like a bag or camera bag. No, it's a snap case. Reminded me of the days when my dad was shooting with part of the case hanging off the bottom of the camera. However, it works and she loves it. The fact that it was designed in the olden days (1950s-1960s) does not detract from the value of the case. It's just a little weird. Every day she discovers more and more with this little camera. She's 11 and she loves it. I bought another color for her sister who will be 13 in a few months.
