The previous purchase of a 15-inch Lenovo ultrabook was made in favor of this product as a more portable alternative for mobile development. Since I needed a laptop immediately, I researched available options and happened upon this model, which met my needs at a reasonable price. The IPS display, speedy SSD, and upgradable dual-channel RAM included in the AMD 5000 series make for a really good all-around package. The previous Lenovo has a subwoofer, but the sound quality is also good for this price, the construction quality is average, and with the brightness turned down and an average load, it can go for 6 hours without making a peep. When making the purchase, I had my reservations; after all, $30,000 was a lot of money to pay for a laptop, especially with the rising cost of other components. What was going on in the minds of the purchasers became crystal evident after perusing the reviews. In other words, the urge to acquire a "aircraft" is present even when purchasing a "budget" equipment. That can't be right. Buying a laptop requires knowing exactly what it will be used for and what features it must have. If you want "metal" beauty, you'll get worse performance; if you want power, you'll pay more; if you want "maximum speeds" beauty, forget about the price and go for it; just don't whine that you can't have "gelik" for "nine" Regarding criticisms posted here: "Dim screen" — HP, like any other device, need its own drivers. ate has corrected the problem on Windows. Windows will automatically download and install the required drivers. If it doesn't work, she'll do it all by herself, so download the tool from another site (not the HP one). A decision to install drivers to fix the "wheezing sound" was made after users dragged themselves out of Windows. There is no wheezing at any volume. Driver issues do not arise when using Linux distributions like Ubuntu. Firewood is ready to use "out of the box" after its latest release. Can we say "terrible plastic"? Are you kidding me? For 30k? If you pick it up by the corner or the screen, the plastic won't shatter and it won't make any creaking noises; it's just standard, no-frills plastic. True, it's not made of metal or squishy plastic, but everything is within acceptable working parameters.
