Review on 🦷 EverSmile OrthoChews: Comfort Bite Technology for Seating Aligner Trays - 2 Pack by Jeff Young

Good. But the Nuby silicone teether helped the most.

Like many others. I had just installed Invisalign. Everything was fine on the first day, but towards evening there was this painful feeling of tension that only seemed to be spreading. First I tried the towel which I choked on. I then switched to a silicone teether, which worked, but wasn't quite the right shape and its curve was a bit awkward and bulky. I have read from an Invisalign user that an orthodontic horseshoe aligner works best, but I have not been able to find one commercially. I bought these EverSmile OrthoChews gums, foam aligners, IXO Silicone Teeth Alignment Chews, flatter chews with a handle (my second choice), and a Nuby Silicone Teethe-eeze with bristles. Those OrthoChews were fine. In the end, I prefer soft (blue) over medium (orange). Their size allows discreet chewing; However, size was also an issue. Because the gum is relatively small, relief occurs only in the area covered by this mouthguard. For me at least, it made the non-gum area more uncomfortable. Another disadvantage. According to the instructions, it should continue to be used for 1-2 minutes. Ha. Days 2 and 3 of Invisalign were pretty rough and the pain was constant. Even if I've used them up to the recommended 6 times a day, 1-2 minutes isn't enough. At least for me. My relief came from the Nuby Silicone Teete-eeze Teether. I was very good at getting the bristly end all the way into my mouth and just removing the gum. The shape almost covers my entire bite area. helped me a lot. I really don't think I could have gotten through those tough days without him. Not the most flattering thing that hung out of your mouth, but it was a complete function about a fashion moment.

Pros
  • ALINARS FIT BETTER: OrthoChews are very helpful when changing to a new brace set. They help the aligners sit properly on your teeth straight away, which helps your teeth move right away. After you put on your aligners, chew on one of them for a few seconds to ensure the aligners are fully seated and comfortable in your mouth.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
