Review on Noctua NF A8 FLX Premium Quiet by Troy Palmer

The fan looks and feels good. All screws and parts are included so installation was easy. I installed it on my Synology DS408 NAS. Unfortunately, the NAS does not recognize the operation of the fan and beeps. I just disabled the fan warning on the NAS. I wish the fan would be recognized by the NAS (1 star deducted for that). The airflow is actually better than the original fan. It is no louder than the original fan, but delivers more air. UPDATE 4/2/2020: I bought it on December 1st, 2019. On February 3, the fan failed. My Synology DS turned off the NAS due to overheating. The fan has a dead zone and stops rotating. If you take a screwdriver and twist it or turn the NAS back on, it will work again for hours or maybe even days. I tried to return it but the return window ended 3 days ago (there is only 2 months to return it). Downgraded it from 4 to 1 star.
