Always wanted my family to use one of these when we go camping or when we have big parties in our backyard. I ended up using the gift card to buy one for us. Setup was very easy; It took about 15 minutes to turn it on and launch Incredibles 2 on Netflix. It's small and light. The remote is about the size of a Fire Stick remote and is similar in simplicity. Bluetooth ("Realtek Bluetooth") syncs easily with my Android phone. WLAN was also installed quickly at my house. Setting up and signing up for services like YouTube and Netflix was easy. My kids thought the picture quality was like the movie theater we go to so it worked for them in my dark dining room and should work great outside at night. I liked being able to tilt the display lens to get a rectangular output because I had to tilt the base so everyone in our small room was headless while watching a movie. The device is really small and light. I left it in protective bubble wrap until I found a case for it. I added an external JBL speaker (wired) because I wanted to direct the sound outward and away from the projector itself. I was struggling to find the volume control in the dark until I realized it was on the remote lol. The sound was great. Cons include: you can't zoom in or out to adjust the image size; You need to bring the projector closer or farther to get a clear picture. The unit makes comparable noise to the projector my friend uses, but looking online I don't think there is a manufacturer that can make it quieter. The instructions state that you can't update apps (like Netflix) on the device, but I can't accept that as content won't play over time if you're running an outdated version of the app. I need to figure out how to update apps since it's 2019 and it should be possible. Can't wait for warm weather so we can use this thing with our bevy of kids and their friends!
