They're fine. They claim the capacity is 50 pounds. It's not specified if it's a single 50-pound piece or a 50-pound piece spread throughout the 18-inch bar. I already have a couple of Harbor Freight rods. I compared the holding power between the two and these bars are not as strong. I use them for tools and there is some slippage. They would be ok for knives, screwdrivers, screwdriver bits, pliers, etc. I wouldn't put tools like hammers on them anyway, but even another hand didn't hold the instruments well. I don't have a calibrated tool that measures holding power, I've just glued and removed various tools, I've given them three stars, although if you average the three ratings (installation, strength and adhesion) the average score will be higher. . But ease of assembly and strength play no role in something like this. They are supplied with screws and hollow wall plugs. I haven't installed them so I can't say if the screws come off easily. You look good. -1/4" and depending on where you install those bars, those screws may be too long. For example, I installed Harbor Freight's rungs in a plywood cabinet I made. The plywood is only 3/8" ", so these screws will do. Doesn't fit If you're screwing drywall into studs, these screws will likely fit. I haven't decided yet whether to return them or not but I won't be buying them again, they're a bit more expensive than Harbor Freight but I figured better not drive a car and order these.
