Review on Autel MaxiTPMS TS501: Upgraded Automotive Scan Tool for TPMS Sensor Programming & Relearn with OBD Diagnostic Scanner by Eric Wohlman

I previously bought a higher end unit that broke after three months. Tech support got me going so I had to have another device for customer service so I ordered this TS501. The device did not start in a short period of 4 months, so I called tech support. They told me that the device was not sold through an official US retailer and is not intended for sale in the US, so I have to wait for them to get approval. from the headquarters in China. After a long wait they gave RGA to send to warranty department. A phone call followed, demanding that I pay $100 to look up information on the HQ database access tool or that the unit be returned to me without repair. I will not be buying any more Autel products for the time being. Warning, a year is not respected and they will take your instrument and demand a $100 ransom to guarantee it.
