I was pleasantly surprised that they fit my daughter's chubby legs! They are true to size. I ordered a 12-18 month old for my 12 month old and they have enough room to grow! But as I said, my child has big feet and they are quite wide. If I had bought them for my oldest when she was a child, they would have been too big and wouldn't fit her. They are soft and the construction seems to be holding up well! Also super cute!
