I have been using salmon oil on my German Shepherd since she adopted me 9 months ago. When I first got her she had horrible dandruff, she itched all the time, she had very dull fur, horrible hair and she moved her butt everywhere. Since the animal shelters are largely funded by donations, this was very understandable. I have been looking for the best remedy to relieve these ailments and about 99% of what I have found was SALMON OIL added to their food. She only gets high quality grain free food and I add the recommended amount right on top. Now she turns up her nose if it doesn't have her fish oil in it. Any questions she had were completely resolved. No scales. No, except running. No scratch. They shed much less, although German Shepherds shed year-round. BEAUTIFUL SHINY WOOL. Yes, there is a very slight fishy odor, but is that true? This is fish oil. What do you expect? lavender and roses? I love this product and will use it forever. The only suggestion I would give would be to maybe make the spout it pumps out of so that it turns down more. It almost sprays sideways and splattered all over my counter the first time. Not in her bowl as expected. A more downward-curved spout would be ideal! Another big bonus is that these are all American products and MADE IN THE USA!
