A few years ago I was in China and had a warm meal there. Years later, now that I have a family, I wish they had had the same experience. I was hesitant as pictures usually show amazing skills, but the reality is very different. In this case, however, the picture does not lie. There is enough space for food between the grill and the brazier! The independent controls are great - I can fry, reheat, reheat, and cook until I'm serving the perfect meal right on my table. It will get hot enough to bring the broth in the pot to a boil almost immediately. I was amazed at how hot it got! Kids love the interactive nature and the ability to control their eating. It's a sure win for even the pickiest of eaters when they can pick exactly what they want, cook it, and eat it right at the table. Cleaning was easy! Not much is really mentioned, but it does have a grill tray that collects excess material and makes cleaning that much easier. Everything came immediately and was cleaned with the gentlest scrubs in my sink and ready for the next time. In general I am very happy with it. If it holds up over time it will be one of the best kitchen gadgets I have ever had!
