Seller refuses to provide setup instructions or directions. Hands Off

I've been in the talkback industry for over 35 years. I can't believe how many supposed "Huds" BS buy it's "Pre Tuned" and accept the fact that the seller and manufacturer refuse to provide tuning instructions. There is no way a gain antenna will cover the range it advertised that this antenna is capable of. It needs to be tuned to the part of the area it will be used on. I own VNA and SWR meters and have over 35 years of experience in this field. I eventually tuned it to the range I needed, but without the help of a vendor or manufacturer. Any radio amateur who believes that a "default" antenna will work on any band and installs it should be encouraged to relinquish his radio amateur antenna. Get ticket and CB.

Pros
  • CB & Talkback Radios
Cons
