I had a difficult time choosing what size to order. I’m 39-31-43 so based on the size chart, I would be around an XL, but amazon suggested I purchase a L or M based on my height and weight. I went ahead with the XL even though I normally wear a L. It’s loose in the chest, waist, and arms, but it looks and feels fine. If you want more of a snug fit, I would go down a size, but if you’re curvy and don’t want to be too showy, follow the size chart. Once you figure out the sizing for the look you want, this dress is lovely, well-made, and very vintage looking. I’m happy with my purchase!
