Works very well. I've been looking for a hot shoe lamp that wasn't a flash for a while and decided to pull the trigger for school beauty photos. The light comes out very bright and it's a very nice uncapped white, my only three not so good things are: 1) When I use the light at an angle on a tripod, the neck isn't strong enough and sometimes the light will fold in on itself . 2) If the light is on for a while, I feel like it gets dimmer so your light range gets smaller. 3) It runs on batteries and I wish it had 2 rechargeable batteries (I know you can buy rechargeable batteries but they are just expensive). I am a college student on a budget and this product works well in a pinch. If you're looking for professional gear, this isn't it. Good for the price, worth it for me.
