unless I take my phone out of the ultra thin waterproof case - I can't use the cables. EVERY manufacturer should expect the iPhone to have a case - many of them wrap around the phone - so the adapter needs to be long enough to reach the connector through the case. An extra 2-3mm would do the trick and make it perfect. I bought this for the right angle connector because I was lying in bed with my phone on my stomach, which tends to bend a regular cord and cause it to fail. But unfortunately I won't take my phone out of the waterproof case every time I need to charge it.
