Review on πŸ₯— Ultimate Insulated Stainless Steel Greens Aquamarine - Keep Your Food Fresh and Cool by Samuel Blakeley

Finally the perfect replacement and upgrade for my favorite mug.

For the past 23 years I have used the same 20 ounce Aladdin mug that was given to me as a freshman gift in college. I was a little nervous about my habit of drinking from a mid-'90s plastic cup that was rinsed often (NOT BPA-free, of course), but I never found a replacement cup that I liked. I've tried other metal cups (like the ones you get as gifts at conferences or sporting events) but was disappointed with the sliders, which retained liquid and couldn't be cleaned (I drink homemade lattes every day and the milk gets stuck). gets rancid when I leave work in the morning) and the cups couldn't go in the dishwasher - there was always a leak, usually at the bottom, and you could hear the water splashing into the "vacuum" cup. Also, these cups were always 16 ounces or less. I know 4 ounces doesn't sound like much, but I've always noticed a difference when I've run out of coffee sooner than expected. I decided it was time to find a replacement for my favorite mug. I wanted something dishwasher safe (that won't spill into the mug when washed and has a lid that can be easily completely disassembled and reassembled for a thorough clean). It had to be BPA-free and non-reactive (I use essential oils in water and want to use them in my mug, which I couldn't do before as they can react with plastic and aluminum but are safe). stainless steel and glass), weatherproof (my Aladdin mug was open vented with no slider), insulated from both heat and cold, fits in a standard car cup holder (my old mug was too big but fit perfectly in the center console of my mid 90's Outback x (as if they were MADE for each other!) and I had to keep 20 oz. The BEAST fits right in. I've only had this mug for two days and have only used the screw top mug. My coffee stays hot until I drink it (which can take hours while I'm working at my desk.) When my coffee is ready, I can just take everything apart, rinse the mug and lid thoroughly, and fill with ice water with no lingering coffee taste.I suppose I will It will take me a while to get used to drinking through a stainless steel straw, but I'm VERY glad it was included l allows me to use this essential oil jar as I can keep the oils off the plastic lid by sipping through the non-reactive straw. An unexpected feature was the protection of the nose on the slider cover. I've had experience with previous mugs that had sliders, when I'm about to take a sip of my drink, the tiny hole that allows air to enter the mug to replace the liquid that spills out closes and shuts sniffing with the tip of my nose while drinking, slowing or stopping the flow of beverage through the drinking spout. This mug has a raised part that protects the air hole without preventing air from entering. It's a small thing, but I notice (with relief) every time I take a sip. The mug's appearance is more compact than I expected, which is great. However, for some reason it seems larger than it appears when I hold it in my hands. I have slightly small hands (I wear men's S or XS/women's S or M depending on the style) and I hold the cup closer to the base for a better grip. I read reviews from other customers and one of them. The turning point in my decision to purchase BEAST was Greens Steel's reputation for customer service. So far I've received two emails from Greens Steel who review my purchase to make sure I'm happy and let me know that if I have any questions or issues with my mug they are ready to help. Feedback from other customers makes me feel that this customer care and interaction is genuine and genuine and as such I will not hesitate to reach out to Greens Steel with any questions I have if necessary.
