Review on KOHLER GENUINE 1188999 Toilet Canister by Doug Booth
A different part number sent but still a different number on the installation booklet. But it's normal!
I ordered this KOHLER GENUINE PART 1188999 but the part number stamped on the product I received was 1187573. The installation booklet that came with it has a different number. I called Kohler to see if #1187573 is compatible with my flush tank. A Kohler spokesman said compatibility could not be confirmed. So I sent it back and ordered the correct part directly from Kohler. Today I received a part from Kohler. Guess what? The stamped part number is the same: 1187573 and the installation booklet is the same as the one I received from Revain! So this Revain part is correct and $18 cheaper.
