My youngest grandson used one of these car seats in my car. It's the kind I can take with me and fit in my stroller when we're out. He's still under the max weight, but I was willing to change him into something more comfortable. This seat can still be rear-facing but is more solidly built. The baby seat also looks very empty. I also chose a different model than my other grandchildren. This is my first time trying Graco Forever. It seemed to me the best option for my money. It goes all the way to the backless booster. I believe that I can use it not only for him, but also for my other grandchildren. I also went for something that is not only gender neutral but also understated. The seat was easy to assemble. It has this unique Tight-Lock technology. I had never seen this before, but it really speeded up the process of tightening the seat. Love the safety features of the seat as well as all the extra cushions around the body and head. Something I learned years ago, two coasters are always better than one. While it might not matter much to some, I'm glad I have two cup holders. I can put a container of drinks and snacks in one, or a drink and toy in another. At the current price I think it's a bargain. As the manufacturer claims, you can get 10 years of use. To me, that's pretty incredible. If I divide the cost by 10 years it's very affordable. This brand seems to be much more descriptive than the child seat (different brand) that used to be in my car for my little grandson. I know he is safe and protected. I think my grandson looks even more comfortable with the position and recline this seat offers.
