So close to perfect! Why are you doing this to me, Tarion?

So close to perfection! Why are you doing this to me, Tarion? Received this backpack today after buying a few others hoping to find the right one. This one is so close! With a few minor updates, it could be for the best, seriously! Firstly, it looks and feels just as good in reality as it does in the pictures! Second, if you don't need to carry your laptop around and don't have a lot of carrying gear, then BUY IT NOW! What I also like: good size, open top design with drawstring (compensating for the lack of many pockets), comfortable to wear, side access, good divider system, raincover included, holds a thin water bottle or small tripod. Did I mention she's good looking? Why I deducted 1 star: Well, the description and tag on the bag says "laptop compartment" but it's not actually a laptop compartment. Preferably a tablet. I have a small 13" Dell XPS and it's sticking out of the zipped compartment. Also, it's not exactly a soft subject. While I could stick the laptop out and flip the flap over it to secure it, it's far from safe and secure. Here's the thing, it will easily fit a 13" laptop if you move the zipper an inch or even just sew the edge over the zipper! Still nothing on top! Why, oh why Tarion? I hope that over time they change the design and add some padding. Then it would be perfect! At the moment I can stow my Panasonic G9 with attached lens and 3 other lenses, as well as my Mavic Air drone and remote control in the camera area! Excellent! For now I decide to keep this or the Thule Aspect package. I can keep both and use it for trips around the area or if I don't bring my laptop with me. Both packs are the same size: Thule is a few inches taller and Tarion is 2 inches wider. The Tarion is much thinner at the back and has better access to the movement and both have side access. However, Thule has its own laptop and tablet compartment.
