It's really loud, which is great in a hostile situation! Unless it's not stopping when I push the pin back in and I'm trying to make it stop and in a few minutes my brain is shaking from the volume :) it's a really good idea and will shock anyone and give you that extra few seconds that might save your life. The execution could use more work probably. The siren started and wouldn't stop no matter what. When I brought it closer to my eyes to see how to open it I thought I would go crazy (it's really loud). You need a screw driver to get to the battery (to make it stop). In a few minutes it stopped by itself. Haven't checked it out since. I really like the idea but I don't know if it'll work properly when I need it to.
