Okay, I bought this for a reason. It seems the key fob for my F150 is on the trigger. If you bend down, hit something, or reach into your pocket, it works. Not always an issue when I'm out of range, but it's enough to be really annoying. I was hoping this cover would add enough layer of protection to make the button click harder and lessen if not eliminate the problem. PROS: 1. Case fits perfectly. It adds a nice layer of protection and you feel like a drop protects your keychain. You can still attach a keychain to it and overall it looks chic. CONS: 1. It doesn't reduce the sensitivity of the keys, which I like, but not for my purposes. I still have the same number of false positives.2. It fits really tight and I was afraid to take it off when I had to change the battery.3. Extremely difficult access to the emergency key (inside the fob). If this was a real emergency and it was a cold day, it would be some time before you could get hold of this key. There is no hole on the fob for a status LED so you have no visual confirmation that the remote start worked.5. The finish is great fun on the inside of your bag, so much so that getting your keys out of your jeans pockets can be a chore. I ended up removing the lid and throwing them away. While I like the idea of the extra protection, I don't know how necessary it is. I'm not very careful with my keys and my key fob rarely broke. And I like the remote boot status indicator. I'm not saying this is a bad product for you. Just not for me.
