Very hard to find low cut brown socks. I bid on this although the smallest size available was M/L which should fit US men between 9.5 and 12.0. I usually wear size 8.5-9.0 shoes, but these socks fit. I liked them more than many other options because they contain 25-32% wool (the rest is acrylic, nylon and lycra) while the others I found didn't. I prefer wool as it is a moisture wicking natural fabric. These are lightweight, cushioned hiking socks. So if you are looking for really thin everyday socks, these are not the socks you need. advance. There is enough padding at the bottom of the socks to provide some comfort without getting too hot. The top of the socks is thinner. The toe and heel are reinforced to last longer, and an elastic band around the midfoot and ankle provides support and comfort. The three pairs of socks range from taupe to light to medium brown. One or two of them may have a slight green tinge; it's hard for me to say One of the pairs has dark green and medium green stripes, but you won't see any of the stripes in the shoes. Overall I am very happy with my purchase!
