After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. One of the issues in several reviews was getting out of "Display" mode. Many reviewers have mentioned how to bypass this, so I tried removing this tab from the battery section. To my disappointment it didn't work and only played two short songs in display mode. I'm sure there's a good chance you'll get a defective one. I completely disassembled the thing to fix it. My niece is 2 and still wanted it so I didn't have the heart to pick it up and go through the return process. In my opinion this product is not a good buy as the chances of it not working properly are quite high. Now I'm thinking about buying a small MP3 player to plug in so I can download the full song list so I can sing along.
