Review on 3-Way Touch Sensor Dimmer Kit - Control Module & Sensor Replacement for Touch Lamps (150W) by Jimmy Bores

I dim 3 flame-shaped dimmable LEDs (originally there were 3 glow plugs in the lamp). I repaired the original dimmer in the lamp and accidentally got it. It was a stupid, thoughtless mistake. After that I found that the wiring of the original dimmer, especially the color of the wire insulation, did not match the new one. I ordered a second one, a new one, ignoring the original setup (wire colors etc) and wired according to the diagram. molded in Bakelite itself (there are also clear patterns on paper included with this product). Now the lamp works great. Once complete and before assembling the lamp base I sealed all connections with shorting tape: the wire nuts suggested were the minimum size as in my case my lamp had 2 x 3 16 gauge wires going to the dimmed bulbs. Overall I'm a) very satisfied but b) embarrassed that I screwed up the first time.
