I wanted and needed this for my back. I opened it and a chemical smell hit my face. I put it on the bed, opened the windows, closed the bedroom door and fell asleep on the couch. The next morning I opened the door and the smell almost knocked me out. I took it outside and left it there for 2 days. I brought it back, put it on the bed and fell asleep on it. This is great for back pain. However, I woke up in the middle of the night to this horrible chemical smell and my sinuses were on fire. I went to the couch. I called Revane the next morning and they told me to go outside and they would pick it up. I have learned not to order anything that says "open in a ventilated area".
