I used to have 2 Arlo cameras and I was quite happy with them but both stopped working in the 3rd year, it seems the batteries don't last more than 3 years be able. So I tried to find a cheap Arlo camera. Then I found this one which clearly states that it comes with a magnetic mount just like Arlo. Installation is even easier than Arlo's as this camera doesn't require a hub, although it does take a while to connect to 2.4G WiFi. All battery cameras only work on 2.4G. Image quality, night vision, motion sensor - everything works fine. As with Arlo, there is some latency when streaming video to an Echo Show. As for the battery life, honestly it can't last longer than the Arlo, I'm at 88% in 7 days. I used over 4% in one day streaming videos on Echoshow for about 5 minutes. It seems to consume about 1-2% per day depending on the trigger, so it works for at least 1-2 months. Since the price is $50 less than the Arlo it's still worth the price, I'll see how long that lasts. and update my rating.
