So, there is a Thermalright ARO-M14O with a kind of "declared" 240 watts of heat dissipation (tdp), there is an AMD Ryzen 9 3900x processor, with a declared tdp of 105 watts, but during the test it consumes (judging by AIDA) 120-125 watts, the processor is completely stock mode works, without overclocking and so on. Everything is installed normally, hands from the shoulders. During the aida test, the processor heats up to 91 degrees and seems to stabilize at this temperature. But damn, that's 91 degrees and only 120 watts (according to Aida). I tried to put the second Thermalright TY-140B fan on blowing out of the cooler - the situation has not changed much, the temperature has become 90 degrees. I decided to install a more efficient Thermalright TY-143 fan (2500 rpm and 130CFM airflow, versus 1300 rpm and 74CFM airflow for the original Thermalright TY-147 fan, that is, the fan is almost 2 times more productive) - result: I lowered the temperature by another couple of degrees - 88. Only makes noise under load like a vacuum cleaner (and this is not a joke). I am attaching screenshots of this modification (with Thermalright TY-143) so that they do not think that I am telling fairy tales. Yes, I tried to change the thermal paste, and I checked it on my own (which was originally on the base) and on the additional Thermalright TF8 - there was no sense. I checked the radiator clamp - the print is even, there is a minimum of thermal paste. Maybe, of course, I got a crooked copy of the cooler, or aida is lying and there is not 120W of consumption. But what is - then he said. In general, if you want to cool 3900x and higher - take something better, more productive, 8 heat pipes.
