Easy to use not sure how long it lasts

I really like this feather duster and use it for around the house, drying or misting with water to collect and trap dust and it has served me really well it's easy to switch, rinse and replace "heads". However, I only gave it 3 stars because the fibers in the last wash I ran started falling out and stuck to all my cleaning cloths that I washed at the same time. I don't know if it was just a rare glitch, but I was disappointed that it happened so quickly (I only washed about 3 times).
