I installed this under the dashboard of my F-150 for my battery powered ham radio. I ran 8 gauge copper to feed it and 10 gauge copper for the devices coming out of it. I also use it for other purposes, such as an LED bar that lights up under the roof of my truck. You can't normally see under the trunk lid in low light, but it's still like daylight with a 12-inch light bar under the lid. I bought a multi-fuse case that allows me to choose the right fuse for each device I connect to. The fuse box also has a row of red LEDs, one for each fuse. If a fuse blows, the LED will indicate which one. The fuse box is one of many I looked at, you can find them on many websites but this model arrived quickly and is very well made. It has a nice lid that fits over it once you put something inside. I use ring terminals on each wire which ensures a very clean install. I was able to hide 98% of all cables used, which is what I love about the F-150.
