My 6 year old loves these hiking shoes a lot. They are true to size. They are well designed. When I took them off on a warm day, they turned out to be very warm and humid, like inside. That's why I don't find them very breathable and not suitable for warm days. We spilled water up to our toes and it didn't go away unless you wiped the tongue area. They are perfect for our hikes in the forest as they have a good grip on the bottom.
