This product worked as expected for my application to be installed on a John Deere 316 Lawn Tractor. 3 were not connected because they are not needed. The closed terminals 2, 4, 5 and 6 are connected. I cut off part of the case for easier access to these contacts. Terminal 2 was connected to the single breaker point previously connected to the negative side of the terminal. coil, but now separated from the coil. Terminal 4 was connected to the 12V DC battery + coil side. Terminal 5 was connected to the negative side of the coil. Terminal 6 has been connected to ground which is the same as the negative side of the 12VDC battery. Possibility of engine overheating. Kind regards.
