These shoes are amazing! I first found them in an online article about the best shoes for orthotics and am very happy to report that they are wide enough and high enough at the toe for my custom insoles. It was a constant struggle to find shoes for my wide feet that also matched my insoles. I have a women's foot size 9.5 D and ordered this exact size in this shoe, size 9.5 C/D. They are so comfortable and are already relieving the hobbling heel pain that came from wearing old shoes that lost their buoyancy and didn't give me enough lateral support. I'm 62 years old, love to travel and hike and I don't care what other people think about what I'm wearing, so I even wore these sneakers with an ankle length skirt to church yesterday. I hope this picture will make you smile. No more limp after two days of wearing these sneakers constantly. As a side note, I put cornstarch in the shoe and it stopped the squeaking caused by my orthotics rubbing in the heel area.
